In case you’ve been living under an Umbrella (get it?), Resident Evil 9 was revealed at Summer Game Fest , and it’s taking us back to Raccoon City after the bombs in just a few short months.

While we admit we’re still holding out for another Resident Evil 1 Remake, you can at least jump in with the incredible Resident Evil 2 Remake and beyond right now, and for a steep discount.

Starting in chronological order, Resident Evil 2 ’s PS5 version is currently 40% off, and is a great place to start since it drops you into Raccoon City on that fateful night as both Leon and Claire.

Next up, Resident Evil 3 perhaps doesn’t reach the same bar of quality from the prior entry, offering a much shorter, action-focused experience, but it’s still a fantastic thrillride that’s also 40% off.

Sticking with remakes, Resident Evil 4 always felt like it didn’t need one, but after playing it again in 2023, we’re so glad it got one. This seminal action title feels more impressive than ever, and it’s just shy of $20.

We’re skipping a few now (Resident Evil 5 and 6 haven’t been remade yet), but Resident Evil 7 is a whole other level of fear. This much more horror-focused entry has players investigating the Baker plantation in the bayou, and it’s also 40% off with the DLC included.
