If you’re looking to reroll in Arknights Endfield , well, you might want to reconsider. Rerolling does give you a shot at getting a specific 6-star character you want, but that shot is highly likely to miss. And it’s a bit of a pain to pull off. Still, if you’re dedicated to the idea of not getting an Ardelia duplicate or you really want Pogranichik instead of Ember, you can give rerolling a go. It’ll just take a lot of patience.

Below, we explain how to reroll in Arknights Endfield and what to expect if you do it.

What is rerolling in Arknights Endfield and why would you do it?

Rerolling is what gacha players call starting a game over, either by deleting your progress or making a new account, in a bid to use start-of-game rewards to get a better character from promotional banners. It’s a misnomer, since you aren’t rerolling anything and just have to start fresh, and how easy or effective it is depends on the game, its starting moments, and what the character drop rates are on the banner that’s caught your eye.

It’s also worth considering just how much you think you need a specific character. Gacha games and their meta lineups change rapidly. Arknights Endfield’s meta list will likely be the same, so who’s currently an S-tier character might just be average two patch updates from now.

We say this because rerolling in Arknights Endfield is a nuisance of the highest order. You have to:

  • Create a new account, which just means registering a new free Gmail, Hotmail, or whatever-mail account
  • Complete the prologue, after which the gacha system becomes available
  • Complete roughly half of the first chapter to get two sets of 10 pulls for the standard headhunt banner

That means spending maybe two hours or so playing Endfield’s opening segments again and again, even if you’re skipping dialogue when you can. The prologue includes unskippable dialogue and sections where you have to walk very slowly, and there’s a lengthy boss battle before before you get to Chapter 1.

That, plus Endfield’s 6-star character drop rates are less than 1%. That means you’re far more likely, in your first 20 pulls, to get a bunch of 5-star and 4-star characters instead of the one you actually want, so you’d have to play even further to get more pulls. And at that point it really just is not worth the hassle. And you can make plenty of excellent team combinations without 6-star characters.

That, plus there’s always the chance that for all your time and all that repetition, you just get Ardelia, whom you can recruit for free anyway. Her first Potential is nice, but not worth that.

So, you can reroll, but it’s a lengthy, tedious process for rewards that you might not even get and, if you do, will potentially be outdated in a few months anyway.

Finding the right set of blueprints in Arknights Endfield is the difference between spending hours manually configuring your base and just plunking down setups you know will work without tinkering. Which blueprints are best depends on where you’re at in the game. You can’t, for example, get a head start on advanced production with a battery blueprint if you haven’t actually unlocked the processes by which you make batteries. So your best bet is to upgrade your factory as you progress through the game, adding more efficient layouts or swapping one production set for another.

Below, we list some of the best blueprints in Arknights Endfield for the early- and mid-game, including battery farm blueprints.

The actual best blueprints for the early game, and for any time when you just want to see how a layout might work or start with the basics, are the blueprints you get by completing tutorial simulations. Once you unlock a new facility or process, you’ll see a prompt encouraging you to try it out in a simulation. These are often lengthy and tedious, but you’ll typically get a blueprint that lets you plunk down a basic setup that mimics what you just used. It takes the fuss out of planning and lets you focus just on producing materials you need.

However, as you start progressing, you’ll want to lessen the amount of space each process takes and have several other factors to consider while building. That’s when community blueprints come in handy.

You can opt for full-factory blueprints, but using process-specific blueprints is a lot easier and takes the troubleshooting out of trying to figure out what went wrong, if something were to go wrong. You also have more control over your layout this way.

Anyway, we’ve tested these blueprints from other Endfield players and found they work perfectly.

While we cautioned against using full-factory blueprints earlier, this one from seas-are-cute is an excellent option for giving you every material you need without having to bother setting up individual processing stations yourself.

Don’t hesitate to experiment with other blueprints to find what works best for you. Just make sure you have enough power output to keep everything going. Fixing a juice-less factory is much more of a pain than it sounds, so keep up with that as you build.
