Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile delayed to 2024
You’ll have to wait a bit longer.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has been delayed to 2024, Activision announced at Call of Duty Next.
Originally slated to release in fall 2023 for Android and iOS, the mobile game is now targeting a spring 2024 release.

“We have a few more things we want to polish up before we release around the world in spring of 2024,” said co-studio head Chris Plummer (thanks, Charlie Intel ).
Upon release, players can expect the maps Verdansk and Rebirth Island at launch, various multiplayer modes, up to 120 player count matches, shared progression, and more.
Announed during Call of Duty Next 2022, the game, previously known as Project Aurora, the mobile game went into limited release last year after a Closed Alpha. During the Limited Release period, key features coming to the game are accessible and many pieces of content, features, modes, and more will be partially completed and continually updated as the team continues development in the lead-up to its worldwide launch.

It’s time to learn a whole lot of new information about Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, and the game’s upcoming beta, at Call of Duty: Next.

Despite the recently released, underwhelming multiplayer trailer , Modern Warfare 3 remains one of the year’s biggest games. Though its multiplayer mode is largely simialr to last year’s Modern Warfare 2, developer Sledgehammer Games is making major changes that should please long-time players.
So far, the developer has only touched on very few of those changes, such as Aftermarket Parts, Conversion Kits, and the more advanced Gunsmith system . That said, things like Tac-Stance, the faster movement/slide, the classic minimap behaviour, map voting and a few other things need to be detailed.
This is exactly what we’ll be treated to today at Call of Duty: Next, the big event that will bring us a deeper look at Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, updated information on Warzone Mobile, and everything to do with Call of Duty.
COD: Next will be streamed live on the official Call of Duty YouTube and Twitch channels. It begins at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST .

Activision is also making it a little more worthwhile to tune in, by offering a bundle of in-game items that can be used in Modern Warfare 3. If you link your Activision ID to your YouTube/Twitch account, you’ll earn one reward for every 20 minutes you watch.
The rewards are:
- Robotic Gamer Emblem.
- Curve Monitor Calling Card.
- Bot Ops Weapon Charm.
- Death Upload Weapon Blueprint.

The next big moment is, of course, the Modern Warfare 3 beta , which kicks off tomorrow on PlayStation, with another session scheduled for the following weekend on PC, Xbox as well as PlayStation. The showcase will also detail exactly what content players can expect to have access to in the beta, so there’s even more reason to tune in if you’re excited about tomorrow.
Modern Warfare 3 arrives November 10 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The campaign will be available up to one week early for players who pre-order any digital edition of the game.

We’ll get to see and learn a lot more about Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2.0, and even Warzone: Mobile today at Call of Duty: Next.
Call of Duty fans have a big show to look forward to today in Call of Duty: Next , a catch-all event that promises to bring us a tonne of new Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer details, show off gameplay for the first time, discuss what’s going on with Warzone 2.0 , and even share a thing or two about Warzone: Mobile .
The format of today’s showcase will be similar to the Modern Warfare 2019 reveal event. Following the developer-lead presentations, over 150 streamers and content creators will be jumping in to play the beta ahead of its launch on Friday.
You’ll be able to go directly to their channels to watch each of their perspectives, or keep it to the main stream, which will be jumping between the different perspectives and offering commentary on the action as it plays out.
In short, expect a whole lot of Modern Warfare 2 gameplay, new details on the next Warzone, and some Warzone: Mobile intel all in one show.
