Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile release date and unlock times worldwide
Warzone Mobile finally opens up to the general public on iOS and Android this week. Here’s when you can start playing.

After what felt like months and months of limited testing, the long-awaited launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile finally arrives this week all across the world. The battle royale game is the closest thing we have to the big-boy Warzone in the palm of our hands, but it offers surprisingly more than that.
The big reason why you may want to play it when it goes live, of course, is its cross-compatibility with Warzone on PC/consoles, as well as Modern Warfare 3 . That’s because weapon, character and battle pass progression is shared across all three games .
Those who have been playing Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone since they launched late last year will have a strong start with an arsenal of weapons, attachments, unlocks and plenty of character skins to pick from.
Warzone Mobile, much like its bigger sibling on PC and consoles, is free-to-play. Anyone with an Android, or Apple iOS phone will be able to download it and start playing as soon as it goes live.
The game launches on Thursday, March 21, but riming varies by region. Here’s when you can expect to play Warzone Mobile where you are.

In celebration of the launch, Warzone Mobile will be hosting its first ever in-game event, in the form of Operation: Day Zero . The limited-time event will be available one day after launch, on March 22.
As part of Operation: Day Zero, six contested zones across Verdansk and Rebirth Island - the two battle royale maps, will be available for players to drop in. The more Event Actions you (and the wider player community) complete in those zones, the more Event Points everyone is going to earn.
Event Points can later be used towards unlocking rewards. Some goals are personal, and you can grind them out yourself. While others require the Warzone Mobile community to participate. The good news is that every Event Point you earn goes into the big community pool, too. A zone is considered cleared once the community has accumulated the necessary points for it. The event is also active in the traditional multiplayer section of Warzone Mobile , though you’re going to earn less there than in battle royale.
If you’re reading this ahead of launch, be sure to pre-register for Warzone Mobile so you’re ready once it goes live in your region. You’ll also earn a couple of cosmetic rewards for your trouble. Be sure to use the Activision ID you’ve been rocking in Warzone/Modern Warfare 3 for your progress to be shared.

It’s time to learn a whole lot of new information about Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, and the game’s upcoming beta, at Call of Duty: Next.

Despite the recently released, underwhelming multiplayer trailer , Modern Warfare 3 remains one of the year’s biggest games. Though its multiplayer mode is largely simialr to last year’s Modern Warfare 2, developer Sledgehammer Games is making major changes that should please long-time players.
So far, the developer has only touched on very few of those changes, such as Aftermarket Parts, Conversion Kits, and the more advanced Gunsmith system . That said, things like Tac-Stance, the faster movement/slide, the classic minimap behaviour, map voting and a few other things need to be detailed.
This is exactly what we’ll be treated to today at Call of Duty: Next, the big event that will bring us a deeper look at Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, updated information on Warzone Mobile, and everything to do with Call of Duty.
COD: Next will be streamed live on the official Call of Duty YouTube and Twitch channels. It begins at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST .

Activision is also making it a little more worthwhile to tune in, by offering a bundle of in-game items that can be used in Modern Warfare 3. If you link your Activision ID to your YouTube/Twitch account, you’ll earn one reward for every 20 minutes you watch.
The rewards are:
- Robotic Gamer Emblem.
- Curve Monitor Calling Card.
- Bot Ops Weapon Charm.
- Death Upload Weapon Blueprint.

The next big moment is, of course, the Modern Warfare 3 beta , which kicks off tomorrow on PlayStation, with another session scheduled for the following weekend on PC, Xbox as well as PlayStation. The showcase will also detail exactly what content players can expect to have access to in the beta, so there’s even more reason to tune in if you’re excited about tomorrow.
Modern Warfare 3 arrives November 10 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The campaign will be available up to one week early for players who pre-order any digital edition of the game.

We’ll get to see and learn a lot more about Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2.0, and even Warzone: Mobile today at Call of Duty: Next.
Call of Duty fans have a big show to look forward to today in Call of Duty: Next , a catch-all event that promises to bring us a tonne of new Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer details, show off gameplay for the first time, discuss what’s going on with Warzone 2.0 , and even share a thing or two about Warzone: Mobile .
The format of today’s showcase will be similar to the Modern Warfare 2019 reveal event. Following the developer-lead presentations, over 150 streamers and content creators will be jumping in to play the beta ahead of its launch on Friday.
You’ll be able to go directly to their channels to watch each of their perspectives, or keep it to the main stream, which will be jumping between the different perspectives and offering commentary on the action as it plays out.
In short, expect a whole lot of Modern Warfare 2 gameplay, new details on the next Warzone, and some Warzone: Mobile intel all in one show.
