Berry Plants are just one of the diffent categories of crops you can donate towards various events in Grow a Garden in exchange for points which contribute to a server-wide project.

Grow a Garden’s latest update contains some autumnal inspiration, but good news, everyone: instead of the leaves falling off of all of your trees, it’s delicious berries that you need to collect and put towards the growth of something new.

Once you’ve added enough points to the central pool by offering up various event plants , you gain access to wonderful and exclusive rewards, alongside other members of the community who contributed to its growth.

However, different kinds of berries are worth different amounts of points, and some are more efficient than others.

Berry Plants are just one of several varieties event NPCs ask you to cultivate; but check out our Grow a Garden Berry Plants list below to see what they’re after.

Now this is where you might find yourself getting tripped up, because according to Grow a Garden, berries and fruits are entirely different categories of plants, and while there’s some overlap, NPCs won’t accept one in place of the other if they deem a berry not fruity enough or vice versa.

To help you prove to them you know your onions – and erm, strawberries – this list features all plants classed as Berries in Grow a Garden:

Berry PlantsStrawberry Blueberry Raspberry Lingonberry Cranberry Celestiberry Grape Elder Strawberry Speargrass

While most berries do also classify as fruits in Grow a Garden, your best bet for satisfying an event’s craving for berries is to harvest regular Strawberries: they’re the most common type, and each one is worth 1/7 of an Elder Strawberry when totting up points, which really adds up given how much easier they are to obtain!

Blueberries are obviously also very easy to obtain from the Seed Shop, and grow very quickly to quickly add to the counter. However, many higher-level players will have far outgrown these crops and won’t have space for them in their garden.

If that sounds like you, then Grapes are a great choice. You can get them from the Seed Shop and they’re a Divine tier plant that’s not as much of a waste of space.

For the rest of the different plant types you can add to events in Grow a Garden, check out the list below:
