Heartopia is our first new favourite game of 2026! This free-to-play, mobile-first “slow life sim” really delivers on its promise — it’s the perfect chill, cosy game to keep you warm through the winter months, especially if you’ve been going through Animal Crossing withdrawl.
Like most casual F2P games of its type, Heartopia has a gift codes system that allows you to redeem official codes given out by the developers in exchange for in-game freebies. How to redeem codes in Heartopia
In order to use the code redemption function in Heartopia, you need to follow these steps:
- Open the Watch , your in-game tablet feature that grants access to the game’s various menus, by pressing TAB (on PC) or tapping on the smartphone icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- Navigate to the Setting menu by clicking on the gear icon (you may need to scroll down, as it’s always the last of your in-game “apps” to appear on the list).
- Click the Redeem Code button at the bottom.
- Enter your code into the text box and press the Redeem button.
What to do if Heartopia codes aren’t working
If your Heartopia code isn’t working, you can try checking your spelling, or even just copy-pasting from our list to ensure that it’s all formatted correctly.

How often are Heartopia codes released?
The latest information from XD suggests that the current plan is to release a new Heartopia code every Monday, in what’s being referred to as " weekly benefits “. So far, it seems that this code always grants an identical reward of 5 Wishing Stars, 3 Mermaid Fish Attractors, and 10 Fertilizers .
Outside of this schedule, expect to see new codes released following preview livestreams for future updates, milestones achieved by the game, and real-world celebrations.
How to find new Heartopia codes
Heartopia codes are typically announced by the developers on their various official social media accounts: they have a presence on Discord , TikTok , Facebook , Instagram , X , and YouTube .
It’s also worth checking fan communities on these and other platforms, as sometimes fans will uncover codes that were released outside of the usual places — for example, some codes might only be announced in one region, but still work on all servers.

Are Heartopia codes cross-platform?
Your Heartopia account is cross-platform, meaning that you can switch between playing on PC (via TapTap) and any Android and iOS devices you have without having to start all over again. This means that you can only redeem each code once, even if you play across multiple devices.
However, Heartopia login is currently determined by your email address (as represented by your Google, Facebook, or Apple account), rather than any sort of central account with XD. Therefore, if you have multiple email addresses or accounts with the aforementioned services, you could in theory have multiple Heartopia accounts too and redeem codes separately on each one.
