Update 9th February: We added the location of the Day 8, 9, and 10 eggs!
Heartopia is a life sim that mixes the staples of the genre with live service elements – and as my fellow gacha enthusiasts will doubtless already know, that means a regular rotation of seasonal content. Winter Frost is the first content season to debut since the game’s global launch, and it features plenty of time-limited activities and events for players logging into the game between January 31st to March 13th, 2025 .
During these six weeks, talking to almost any NPC will trigger a new seasonal pastime. For Naughty – the playful blonde boy who likes to hang out in Onsen Mountain – a request to prepare gifts for visitors to this temporary winter theme park has led to the development of a full-on egg hunt . Yes, like the Easter tradition. Don’t overthink it.
Heartopia Onsen Egg Promise
You can begin the egg treasure hunt by speaking to Naughty, the NPC who hangs out at the overlook in Onsen Mountain, during the Winter Frost Season celebrations, and selecting the Onsen Egg Promise dialogue.
Naughty explains that he’s been put in charge of coming up with the “winter gift” for Eric’s seasonal event, but that he became distracted by an argument about eggs, and thus decided to stage an egg hunt.

There are 16 eggs in total for the collection, initially unlocking one per day in real-time from January 31st until February 15th. To “collect” an egg, you simply need to track it down and then take a photograph of it using Heartopia’s in-game camera app.
Each egg photographed earns you 5 Wishing Stars and 300 Fashionwave Tokens (the event-exclusive currency of the Winter Frost Season). Finding all 16 additionally nets you Naughty’s “grand prize”: the exclusive food recipe for Onsen Eggs.
All eggs can be found in the Onsen Mountain region, so even though there’s quite a lot of area to cover, at least you don’t need to run across the whole map to find them all. The egg hunt activity will be available to complete until the end of the Winter Frost season on March 13th .
It is important to note that only one egg is added to the Onsen Mountain egg hunt per real-world day , so you can’t just complete the whole treasure hunt straight away. However, additional eggs are tied to the real-world calendar, not the date the player began the quest , so latecomers are able to catch up very quickly.
Beware spoilers below! We’re giving away the exact locations of Naughty’s hidden eggs as we find them, so if you want to hunt them down for yourself, stop reading now!
Day 1: Beige Cracked Egg
Added January 31st: The first egg is quite simply directly behind Naughty, resting atop one of the walkway fence posts surrounding the scenic overlook.

Day 2: White Cracked Egg
Added February 1st: The second egg can be found at the entrance to the ice skating rink that’s been added for the Winter Frost season, down close to the shoreline at the north beach in Onsen Mountain. Two snow sculpture figures stand to the right of the stairs; the egg is atop the head of the smaller figure resembling a moose.

Day 3: Green Cracked Egg
Added February 2nd: The third egg is under the staircase leading up to the roof of the domed building at the entrance to the Winter Frost park area, which has been temporarily set up on the northern beach at Onsen Mountain. Seasonal vendor Azure has set up her stall nearby.

Day 4: Cyan Cracked Egg
Added February 3rd: The fourth egg is behind Blanc ’s gardening shop caravan. Blanc has set up his temporary stall near to the lower-ground entrance to the domed building mentioned on Day 3; you’ll need to run around behind the van, as the egg is slightly hidden by a rock depending on where you approach from.

Day 5: Lavendar Cracked Egg
Added February 4th: The fifth egg is on the awning above Massimo’s outdoor kitchen at the edge of the ice rink. It can be a little hard to spot since it matches the colour of the awning and surrounding flowers so well — it’s up there on the right-hand side as you look from the front.

Day 6: Azure Cracked Egg
Added February 5th: The sixth egg’s location takes us back to the domed building once again, this time right on the rooftop where the community snowman project is being built. It’s on a railing post directly behind the snowman as you face them.

Day 7: Black Cracked Egg
Added February 6th: We’re staying at the domed building once again for the seventh egg, which is inside the lower floor room that’s been done up as a little reception area where you can usually find Mayor Atara. The egg is on the table in the middle of the seating arrangement next to the stove.

Day 8: Red Cracked Egg
Added February 7th: No need to move too far from the domed building for the eighth egg, but you do need to exit the structure and head around the back near to the glowing portal. Here you’ll find the egg perched atop the coffee umbrella nearby.

Day 9: Orange Cracked Egg
Added February 8th: The ninth egg is in the same vicinity once again, but nevertheless, this egg is a little tucked away. Head left from the domed building as you exit and you’ll see a rock formation under a walkway; investigate this area a bit and you’ll find this egg perched in the gap between three rocks.

Day 10: Yellow Cracked Egg
Added February 10th: The tenth egg takes us back to Blanc’s mobile gardening shop, but this one’s much more out in the open than the first in this area. Oddly though it can be easy to miss, as it blends in so well with his flower display that you might not immediately spot it on the shelf to his right as you look at him.
