Heartopia ’s winter season is about to kick off, but before the festivities really begin, we have about a week of “prep” time: smaller-scale quests and tasks prior to the introduction of new dreams, items, and more when the season properly starts.
The major task during winter prep is stamp collecting , which is a lot more civic-minded than it sounds. The loose story of Heartopia’s Winter Frost season activity sees onsen manager Eric hoping to set up ice water pumps in the ocean around the island, which requires the sign-off of at least nine residents before it can be approved, in a task known as Resident Feedback Collection .
Naturally it’s up to you to collect those nine stamps, which can be gathered either from NPCs, fellow players, or a mix of both. In case you find yourself stumped rather than stamped, here’s how to collect stamps for winter prep in Heartopia .
How to collect winter prep stamps from NPCs in Heartopia
The brief winter prep tutorial indicates that you can collect all the stamps you need from NPC town residents if you don’t feel like throwing yourself at the mercy of your fellow players. However, what it doesn’t make clear is that you can only collect stamps from certain NPCs, none of whom live in the town square area where you might well have started your search.
If you open your map, you might notice that there are nine NPCs with the orange tick-mark on their profiles indicating that they can be interacted with for a special quest. For winter prep, there are NPCs in the Forest , Fishing Village , and Flower Field regions whose seals of approval you can seek in exchange for favours.
Getting NPC winter prep stamps in the Forest
The two relevant NPCs in the Forest region for this quest are Patti over at Deer Tower and Cassie at the Jump Puzzle.
Interact with them to receive their request: they each want you to catch 10 insects as part of their current project of protecting the trees in the area from damage.

Note that although their requests are identical, you have to receive the quest from both Patti and Cassie individually, and complete it twice if you want both of their stamps.
As a reward, not only will Patti and Cassie add their stamps to your petition, but you’ll receive an Energy -boosting serving of house salad from each of them.
Getting NPC winter prep stamps in Fishing Village
The three relevant NPCs in the Fishing Village region for this quest are Marin over on the East Pier, Bill at the Wharf, and Will at the Lighthouse.
Interact with them to receive their request: they each want you to hand in three fish as part of their current project of ensuring that the village market doesn’t run out of stock during the harsh weather.

Her text reads: “Would you be willing to supply some fish?” - 4”>

Note that although their requests are identical, you have to receive the quest from Marin, Bill, and Will individually, and complete it three times if you want all three of their stamps.
As a reward, not only will Marin, Bill, and Will add their stamps to your petition, but you’ll receive 500 Gold from each of them.
Getting NPC winter prep stamps in Flower Field
The four relevant NPCs in the Flower Field region for this quest are Sally at Purple Light Beach, Vernie at the Windmill, the Passionate Girl by Meadow Lake, and the Gazing Boy on Whale Mountain.
Interact with them to receive their request: they each want you to hand over three bags of fertilizer (either regular fertilizer or growth booster will do, depending on what you can spare) in order to help their efforts to protect the local flowers from frost.

Her text reads: “Vernie asked us to help gather fertilizer. If you have any extra, could you share some with me?” - 5”>

Note that although their requests are identical, you have to receive the quest from Sally, Vernie, and the two lovebird kids individually and complete it four times if you want all four of their stamps.
As a reward, not only will Sally, Vernie, Passionate Girl, and Gazing Boy all add their stamps to your petition, but you’ll receive 500 Gold from each of them.
Getting winter prep stamps from other players
If you don’t feel like doing the same repetitive mission tasks nine times in a row – although, trust me, it’s definitely the quicker option for getting this limited quest done in time – you can also turn to your fellow players for help in filling out your stamp book.
To get other players to add stamps for you, your character needs to be holding their stamp book like any other tool, at which point other players can interact with your character to give you a stamp.

Note that this costs the other player 30 Energy , and so it’s a good idea to have some food on hand as a thank you!
Furthermore, bear in mind that it’s not the end of the world if other players on your server don’t want to interact – you can always fall back on the NPC option if you find you’re running out of time to complete this winter prep quest.
