How to complete Sylus’ birthday event in Love and Deepspace
How to participate in the Night Whisper Sylus birthday event, and details of the Where Hearts Live banner.

As the fourth love interest in Love and Deepspace and the first to be added to the game post-launch, Sylus fills a very definite niche when it comes to offering romantic fantasy options that will cater to all players. Linkon City’s most wanted criminal might be flirting with danger in more ways than one when he falls for our government agent heroine – but Infold Games certainly aren’t about to tell you it’s a bad idea to be a kick-ass hero of the people and date a morally dubious underworld boss.
Sylus debuted in LaDS 2.0 in July 2024, meaning that his 2025 birthday event is his first one. While all birthday events in LaDS follow a basic pattern, the details are unique for each love interest. In Sylus’ case, for once the focus is less on his bad boy antics and more on his surprising love for the natural world and, erm, maple syrup. (I promise it makes sense in context!)
There are two main components to Sylus’ birthday event: the Where Hearts Live banner, and the Night Whisper event. Both are time-limited and will end on April 20th , so you’ll need to act fast if you want to experience Sylus’ birthday celebrations for the year!
How to participate in LaDS’ Night Whisper event
Night Whisper time-limited event content can be accessed from the game’s events tab. In order to unlock the event and participate, you need to have completed LaDS’ main story to at least Chapter 1-8 – which makes sense, since this is the point at which the player’s character canonically meets Sylus for the first time.
There are three phases to the Night Whisper event, all of which grant plenty of opportunities to earn unique event currencies known as Sugar Maples (see below).

Step 1: Play the Inspiration Collection mini-game to gather cake ingredients. There are four stages, each of which gives you the chance to collect different ingredient types.
Step 2: Open Blueprints to create cake decorations with the ingredients you’ve collected – this also opens up the event’s one-off story quests for you to play through.
Step 3: Use DIY with unlocked blueprints to design a unique cake for Sylus’ birthday by combining Shapes, Flavours, Toppers, Décor, and Banners.
Finally, beginning on Sylus’ actual birthday (April 18th) until the end of the event, you’ll receive a video call from Sylus recounting his thoughts on his birthday celebrations with you.
Night Whisper event shop details
During the course of the Night Whisper event, you’ll earn a unique limited currency called Sugar Maples . Navigating to Shop > Exchange > Tendre Shop will give you a chance to exchange any Sugar Maples you earn for the following items:

If you find yourself with leftover Sugar Maple at the end of the event, you can exchange each extra for 25 Gold, which is definitely worth doing. Otherwise, as with other LaDS limited currencies, you can probably expect them to automatically convert to a permanent currency once the event is through – so you won’t lose out completely if you forget to spend them all in time, though their buying power will pretty certainly be reduced.
How to participate in Where Hearts Live
Where Hearts Live is the current event banner in Love and Deepspace’s gacha and, as the name suggests, it features a boosted drop rate for Sylus’ 5-star birthday memory, which is also called Where Hearts Live.
Where Hearts Live is a Purple Stellactrum Lunar Memory, and will be available in LaDS’ limited wish pool from April 13th to April 20th, 2025. It almost certainty won’t make a return, at least until Sylus’ next birthday event which, as you may have guessed, will take a full 51 weeks to recur.
To help you out, you get 10x Limited Deepspace Wishes in your mailbox just for logging in during the event’s duration. As with all Limited versions of the Deepspace Wish currency, any you don’t spend on the Where Hearts Live banner by the end of the event will be converted to regular Empyrian Wishes that can only be spent on permanent banners (but at least you don’t lose them entirely).
