UPDATE: We have added additional information on what Guild Points are used for in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Throughout your adventure in Monster Hunter Wilds , you’ll spend most of your time hunting down monsters for parts and grinding experience for your Hunter Rank. After all, the higher your Hunter Rank , the more assignments you’ll be sent on, and the rarer monster parts and rewards you can acquire.
That said, there is another value to consider and that’s Guild Points . These are much more important than you might first suspect, as they’re required for setting up Pop-Up Camps, passing time at your Tent, and requesting items from the Provisions Stockpile to name a few. Without further ado, here’s how to get Guild Points in Monster Hunter Wilds .
How to get Guild Points in Monster Hunter Wilds
You’ll earn Guild Points from almost everything that you do in Monster Hunter Wilds. Completing Assignments, Optional Quests, and going out exploring and hunting monsters will see you rewarded with them.
Additionally, helping out fellow Hunters with SOS Flares or engaging with Side Missions will net you some Guild Points.
Completing Side Missions is particularly important once they become available in Monster Hunter Wilds, as these will task you with discovering new Endemic Life , Aquatic Life, and other smaller creatures around the world. Discovering and capturing these will net you a small amount of Guild Points in general, as well as the Guild Points you’ll earn from successfully completing such missions.
Ultimately, you’ll earn plenty of Guild Points naturally in Wilds, but if you’re short on supply and need more, take part in any story Assignments or High Rank quests that you have available to quickly rack them up.
How to use Guild Points in Monster Hunter Wilds
Guild Points can be used to set up new Pop-Up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds. They can also be spent on resting at these Pop-Up Camps or your Tent at Base Camp if you wish to pass the in-game time quickly.
On top of that, you can use Guild Points to buy items from the Support Ship . You can also use your Guild Points to request that specific items are delivered to the Support Ship in future. You can do this by speaking with Santiago , who is often - but not always - found just beside the Provisions Stockpile NPC in Windward Plains Base Camp. If he isn’t present, you will need to come back later or rest at your Tent until he is available.
