Heartopia ’s final beta test is now live, running from December 10th until December 23rd, 2025 . While much of what’s on display right now is the same as in the previous beta last month, there are a few new quality-of-life tweaks that will surely be welcome to returning players, alongside a first look at the somewhat tacked-on cosmetics gacha system in the form of the Polar Hymn outfit and furniture banners which are available for the duration.

As with the first beta test last month, there will be various rewards for taking part, although some require a bigger commitment than others. Read on for everything you need to know about claiming the Star Mascot Head and other rewards in the Heartopia final beta .

How to get the Heartopia Final Beta rewards

There are two confirmed rewards for taking part in the Heartopia Final Beta that will carry over to the full release, which is planned for 2026.

The Blueberry Crossbody Bag is the reward given to everybody who takes part in the beta test. What’s more, players in the Final Beta get to model it for themselves during the duration of the test, with XD providing assurances that you’ll be able to claim a permanent version once the game launches in full as thanks for your participation.

The second reward – which isn’t guaranteed just for stopping by – is the Star Mascot Head . This exclusive cosmetic will only be claimable by players who reach Developer Guild Member Level 18 during the final beta test .

In order to increase your D.G. Member level, you need to complete daily Resident Requests. Every completed request is worth 10 Contribution Medals , so if you complete all five daily tasks, you can earn 50 every day. Contribution Medals are a unique currency used exclusively for increasing your D.G. Member Level.

Contribution Medal requirements for levelling up increase in the following increments per level:

  • Levels 2-4: 10 Contribution Medals each
  • Levels 5-9: 20 Contribution Medals each
  • Levels 10-12: 30 Contribution Medals each
  • Levels 13-14: 40 Contribution Medals each
  • Levels 15-16: 50 Contribution Medals each
  • Levels 17-18: 80 Contribution Medals each
  • Levels 19-23: 100 Contribution Medals each (functionally unattainable in the beta)
  • Levels 24-25: 120 Contribution Medals each (functionally unattainable in the beta)
  • Levels 26-30: currently unknown (functionally unattainable in the beta)

XD estimates that it will take about 12 real-world days of completing every daily request to earn enough to hit Level 18. ( Note: We ran the numbers and it’s actually 11.2 days, so they’ve not unreasonably rounded up.) Since the beta itself is live for less than two weeks, obviously the idea is to encourage you to play every day.

You’ll clearly need to be quite enthusiastic about Heartopia to reach this stage, as it’s definitely more time-intensive than just logging in and out again; but fortunately, most Resident Requests are straightforward resource gathering quests, so you shouldn’t need more than 15 minutes or so to tick them all off your daily list.

The devs at XD have definitively stated that returning players who took part in either beta test (and met the requirements where applicable) will be able to claim their rewards when the full game goes live sometime next year, but with no word yet on exactly how this will work.

There’s also the returning 7-Day Sign-In Event as seen in the recent First Beta, although it’s unclear whether those rewards will carry over to the full release next year. They aren’t listed in promotional materials alongside the Blueberry Crossbody Bag and Star Mascot Head, so it’s perhaps best not to expect them, although it’d be a nice surprise if you can start the game as a car owner as thanks for your participation in the beta tests.
