One of this year’s major Roblox events is just around the corner and this time it’s bigger than ever. Roblox’s The Hunt: Mega Edition is the return of what now seems to be a series of regular, platform-wide events running around Easter and Halloween each year.
Enlisting the help of dozens of the top-performing games from across the world of Roblox, the Roblox company is tasking players with special challenges to unlock event-limited prizes and a grand prize overall. In the Mega Edition, that grand prize is $1 million in cash, or “ultra-rare digital items” if you’re under 13.
You can join in with the wider event itself, or just enjoy new tie-in content in some of your most-played games. But either way, here’s everything you need to know about The Hunt: Mega Edition!

The Hunt: Mega Edition is now live (as of March 13) and will run until 4PM PDT on March 24 .

Players can view a countdown to the end of the event on The Hunt: Mega Edition homepage .
This gives players approximately just over a week to take part in all participating experiences and earn rewards. Once the event concludes on March 24, ten eligible participants will be invited to take part in The Hunt: Mega Final, where they will compete live for a cash prize of $1 million between 10AM PDT and 3PM PDT on April 4 .
Roblox The Hunt: Mega Edition Content
In the original edition of The Hunt, players could log into 100 different games and collect badges and rewards. They did this by completing challenges specific to those different games. Completing those challenges also helped to climb a central leaderboard crowning the best players from around the world.
In the Mega Edition though, there are 25 participating games, all with their own challenges.
The top ten players will then be invited to Roblox HQ in California to compete for the ultimate $1 million prize on April 4 after the digital event has finished.
As for the content of the challenges, each game has its own The Hunt: Mega Edition update, which will have a unique quest and a hidden object to find. For example, those completing The Hunt quest in Fisch must complete some objectives that ultimately lead them to find the Easter Bunny in the experience.
Completing these quest objectives rewards players with Tokens, and as you collect more Tokens, you’ll then unlock Cosmetic Items and Badges, of which there are 44 in total to acquire.
Some experiences have hidden quest objectives that can allow you to earn Mega Tokens. Earning three specific Mega Tokens grants you access to a secret area of The Hunt: Mega Edition’s experience. We talk more about this in the ‘Rewards and Mega Tokens’ section below.
Roblox The Hunt: Mega Edition Confirmed Games and Quests List
Many of Roblox’s most popular experiences are participating in The Hunt: Mega Edition, and it’s not just one type of game either. Games from a variety of genres will have special integrations and more for you to take part in.
The participating games, and the quests you need to complete in them, are as follows:

Roblox The Hunt: Mega Edition Rewards and Mega Tokens
Rewards in The Hunt: Mega Edition are dished out to you via a Tracker that looks a lot like Battle Pass. As you earn Tokens by completing the above quests, you’ll unlock various cosmetic items shown in this Tracker - which is on the left-hand side of the screen - in The Hunt: Mega Edition experience hub.
You will also earn Badges, which can be seen in the Roblox app by selecting ‘Badges’ beneath The Hunt: Mega Edition experience; this is where you’d view information about the game, such as when it was created.
Your progress, as well as the progress of other players, is also shown on the large leaderboard screens in The Hunt: Mega Edition’s experience hub, if you want to check out how you’re doing against other players.
Players can also acquire the Cactrot cosmetic item for free while The Hunt event is active. For more on that, here’s how to get and redeem the Cactrot code .
