UPDATE: Managed to get access to Marvel Rivals’ alpha? Make sure you don’t criticise it, as that contract you signed doesn’t let you

Update : In a statement sent to PCGamesN , NetEase has apologised for the “inappropriate and misleading terms” in its contract for Marvel Rivals . “The contract is a draft version aiming for long-term cooperation with the creators who are interested in Marvel Rivals,” NetEase said. “The development team hopes to have more meaningful and consistent feedback, suggestions, and criticisms through more in-depth cooperation.” It is apparently now “working [on] revising terms and will share [them] back to the content creators community. All terms will go live only when both parties have discussed and have agreed.”

A message was shared in the content creator Discord for Marvel Rivals provided by one of the game’s community managers, saying that the dev’s stance is “absolutely open for both suggestions and criticisms to improve our game. We are now working to revise the miscommunication terms from our commitment. The progress will be shared with every creator in a timely manner.”

Marvel Rivals is finally in player’s hands, except the contract they have to sign to play the alpha technically doesn’t let them say anything bad about it.

Marvel Rivals was revealed back in March , and is essentially Overwatch with Marvel characters (though obviously has a bit more going for itself than just that).
