What is the Whisper Gallery in Love and Deepspace?
How to complete the Whisper Gallery requirements for the Witnessed By Deepspace event task.

Right now, I imagine almost everyone who’s a fan of Love and Deepspace is well and truly invested in Witnessed By Deepspace. The Version 4.0 debut doesn’t technically let you canonically marry your favourite companion(s), but it does certainly encourage you to indulge in a lot of wedding-related aesthetics with the husbando of your dreams, and just might end with you two sorta engaged-to-be-engaged, at any rate.
Running alongside the Witnessed By Deepspace banner is the time-limited event Before Sunset After Vows, taking place in-game until around July 21st (with exact end times depending on your region). As you might expect, there are plenty of different event tasks for you to complete in order to earn both Invitations (which unlock event storyline chapters) and Vowblooms (the exclusive currency you can use in the event shop).
Most of these tasks are pretty straightforward, but there’s one that’s proving a bit sticky: “Listen to his message in Whisper Gallery and accept the corresponding decor.” Its associated reward of 800 Vowblooms will outright buy you a couple of nice cosmetics from the event shop, or get you a decent chunk of the way towards one of the bigger rewards – but just what does it actually mean?

Happily, we now know a lot more about the Whisper Gallery : it opens up as part of the Riverside Retreat area of the Timeless Vowscape limited-time activity, which in turn falls under the Before Sunset After Vows event menu. Riverside Retreat unlocked on July 10th, meaning that you have about 12 days to check it out before the event ends.
The Whisper Gallery is located in the north part of the Riverside Retreat area and, when you first interact with it, you’re invited to pick from one of three decor styles, in common with the other parts of Timeless Vowscape.
However, unlike with other Timeless Vowscape activities, you’ll receive a warning that once you confirm your choice of style, you won’t be able to change it — this is because after accepting which decor you want to keep, you’ll receive the corresponding decor , fulfilling that part of the quest task. (Don’t panic about getting it right first time, though, because you can still unlock and try out all three styles before making your final selection, which requires you to explicitly click “Accept” before you can proceed.)
As for “listening to his message”, the wording is a little misleading there. The game does prompt you to talk to your love interest, but what he tells you is that he’s recorded a message for you to listen to in 100 days’ time — and yes, that is the game prompting you to wait 100 real-world days , meaning that even if you did the Whisper Gallery activity on the first day it became available, the earliest you’ll be able to listen to his message is October 18th, 2025 .

Luckily for the purposes of this event task, however, just learning about the message is actually enough to fulfil the task requirements and receive the rewards.
As to what this mysterious deferred message is all about, your guess is as good as mine until mid-October rolls around. Given that this unusual quest task initially seemed to be pointing you towards the now-closed Version 4.0 teaser event Evermore Vows: A Call From Him , it could be that you’ll get to retrieve the phone message you received for taking part in that event, and maybe even collect those of the other companions since you were initially limited to picking just the one. That’s merely speculation, though.
In the meantime, you can keep track of your progress by placing the Echo Chimes ceiling decor in the With Him menu , which you can interact with to see the date on which you obtained it and a countdown to when the message will unlock. Once the wait is over, you’ll be able to interact with the Echo Chimes again to hear the message at last.
