Throughout Where Winds Meet, there are a dizzying amount of different kinds of currencies, crafting materials and progression items to keep track of, but one thing’s for certain; you need a lot of all of them!
To make some things a little easier, developer Everstone Studios uses in-game codes to portion out some of these goodies to players. Where Winds Meet codes are typically given out to celebrate in-game events or milestones in the game’s lifecycle, such as launch, player count milestones and more.
The most common item Where Winds Meet codes give out however is Echo Jade. This is a general purpose resource which has all sorts of uses within the game. For example, it can be used to purchase rare and valuable consumables in the dedicated Echo Jade store, but it can also be paid to specific characters in-game during quests and in exchange for information.
One early quest sees your character pay Echo Jade to a wandering Wayfarer in Qinghe. In exchange, the Wayfarer points you towards where you can unlock one of best early game Mystic Arts.
So, if you want to be able to take advantage of these useful encounters, you need to collect as much Echo Jade as possible and the redeemable codes in Where Winds Meet make that much easier.

- Boot up the game, then open the pause menu and select the cog in the top corner.
- This opens the deeper options menu, where you need to select “Other”.
- In the Account Info section of that menu, select the “Exchange Code” option.
